I'm curoous: Has your policy on DC Tuesdays/Wednesdays ever caused a conflict with customers coming in on Tuesday expecting to be able to pick up Batman? Have you been able to message your policy to customers in a clear and easily-accepted way? Or does it just not make a difference because Wednesday was the day for so long?
So anecdotally, we’ve never had an issue. The closest came during the big Batman Fortnite days, when kids were coming in, looking for that specifically, but we had no issue telling them we’d have a copy waiting for them on Wednesday when we were open.
That said, I know a few shops in the city that put out their DC on Tuesday who seem to do well with it. Most customers just want to come in on one day and nab everything they have, as usually evidenced by the slower days we have when we let folks know a part of our shipments we’re delayed (usually Diamond, which we don’t get our Marvel or DC from)
